We have been milking sheep at Sunnyside Farm since 2000 and now have a well-established flock of predominantly Friesland sheep which are milked twice a day to supply all the milk for our cheese and yoghurt.
Our farm nestles in a lush valley with the Redlake river running through it and broad hedgerows border our meadows, supporting a large variety of wildlife. The land became certified organic in 2001, but has been farmed using traditional methods for almost 40 years. In return, we have been rewarded with an abundance of diverse flowers and grasses which help to give our unpasteurised ewes' milk cheeses their distinctive, subtle flavours.
Our cheeses have won a variety of awards throughout the UK.
